The sometimes have good shows on the One World programme on Thursday nights
as they do label showcases, though they have been disappointing recently
(mostly breaks, but they have had some decent downtempo/hiphop (eg a Lex
showcase). In the past, however, they have had Peacefrog, Kompakt and other
cool labels.
I never heard this show but look at the tracklisting for one back in May:
Soft Cell - 'Bedsitter' (PHONOGRAM)
Being Boiled - 'Human League' (FAST RECORDS)
Ghost Rider - 'Suicide' (MUTE)
Moskow Discow - 'Telex' (SIRE)
Photographic (Session version) - 'Depeche Mode' ( MUTE)
Warm Leatherette - 'The Normal' (MUTE)

Der Mussolini - 'DAF' (MUTE)
RickyÂ's Hand - 'Fad Gadget ' (VIRGIN)
Fade To Grey - 'Visage' (POLYGRAM)
Bostich - 'Yello ' ( DO IT RECORDS)
Private Plane - 'Thomas Leer' (CHERRY RED)
Homosapien - 'Pete Shelley' ( GENETIC / ARISTA)

I think Gilles Petersen has done a great job of carrying the Radio One
torch. Not techno per se, but certainly a voice of the underground.
