To be pedantic, the first is the Relief mix by DJ Sneak and Cajmere, whereas
the second is the Cajual mix by Derrick Carter. Good places to start for
sure though, if you can find the vinyl of these (and the mixes are each nice
in their own right). I was always more of a Cajual kid, and I have probably
1/2 of the catalog. But, I'll start with Relief because there's definitely
some nice stuff there too.

Relief
======
-Green Velvet: Pretty much everything
-Gemini: Pretty Much Everything
-Louis Bell: Can You Feel What I Feel vol. 2
-Paul Johnson: Stop Trippin', The Other Side of Me (For 'A Change is Gonna
Come')
-Melvin Meeks
-Joe Lewis: Back to the Beginning (very lush and Detroity for a Relief
release)
-Gene Farris: Summer Affair

Cajual
======
-Dajae: Brighter Days, Get Up Off Me, Day by Day (awesome remixes from GV,
Deep Dish, Chez D and Ron Trent, and Carl Craig)
-Glenn Underground: Beyond, Do/Functions, Essentials, Essentials II, I Need
GU,
-Cajmere: Underground Goodies Vol. VI, Horny Remixes, Conniption (which you
need for 'Love Train')
-Gemini: If You Got to Believe in Something, Le Fusion,
-Spencer Kincy (same person as Gemini): Tangled Thoughts Vol. I,
-Johnny Fiasco: Conduction (his finest moment), Moody Grooves Vol. II
-Braxton Holmes: Braxton's Funky Disco Midgets (this is one of the best in
the catalog)
-Mark Grant: Touch Me
-Roy Davis Jr: Alive on tha Set
-Bernard Badie: Love Explosion
-Dae Dae: Essentials Vol.2
-Romanthony: The Wanderer
-DJ Sneak: Rice and Beans Please!

Related
======
-Percolator
-'Lookin' For a Man' (which includes a Percolator remix) and 'Feelin' on
Live, which are Cajmere releases on this affiliated sublabel.
-The stuff these guys did on Peacefrog at the time was almost always as good
if not better than the Cajual releases. I think GU's best stuff was on
Peacefrog, and for a really drastic contrast, check Tim Harper's 'I Feel A
Groove'. That's one of my favorite records ever, whereas his Cajual/Relief
stuff never really did it for me.
-These guys also had a lot of releases on other labels, especially DJ Sneak
when he was absurdly prolific (nearly a record/week at one point it seemed).
That's a lot to cover though. Gemini's stuff on other labels was probably
most consistent IMO.
-You may also be into Prescription/Balance, related sublabels run by Ron
Trent and Chez Damier. This stuff is the cream of the crop IMO, but
definitely a different, more lush and synthetic flavor generally. Almost the
whole catalog is essential.
-Also check the Red Nail/Sound Patrol material if you're in to Derrick
Carter and Chris Nazuka

If you can't tell, I was/am pretty into this stuff. :) At the last
Bootytronics, Nick Craddock and I were tagteaming and he pulled out a ton of
Relief style stuff. Was great fun!

I haven't bothered with any of the newer releases since they started up
again. Seems a bit sacreligious to me.
