to sort of continue my last post - I've been finding this odd compilations of rare groove and N. Soul tracks - most of these look like bootlegs they've got titles called Bag of Funk Another Bag of Funk Sack of Jazz etc. also found one recently called "Another Kind of Meat" that wasn't connected to the above releases and has some killer funk and soul tracks on them. I think most of these were released sometime in the mid 90s - probably riding the popularity of acid jazz and trip-hop anyone familiar with these or other obscure funk/jazz/soul compilations on small labels?
