I highly encourage interested peole to check out the archives of his Fast Forward radio show from the WDET days.. definitely a landmark radio show of Detroit electronic music heritage. Alan was playing exclusives and test pressings at the the time and playing some amazing tracks as they were just breaking, Baby Ford, Transmat stuff, etc. A really nice time capsule not to mention an example of a techno DJ pumping industrial influences such as Final Cut, etc. To hear Alan announcing on the air Carl Craig's first live performance (as "BFC") show at the Majestic Theater w/ guest DJ Blackout (Damon Booker, right?)... awesome.

Some of the industrial tracks have really dated IMHO (Thrill Kill Kult, yikes...) but others like Suburban Knight "The Worlds" still stand as masterpieces, and his commentary and segue-ways are always a crack-up.
