very very sad. jeremy was a very kind and thoughtful person with tremendous
enthusiasm. he had also just recently launched one of the only true electro
labels left in the usa with a roster of artists
including legowelt, orgue electronique, it & my computer, tangible..a usa
cousin to labels like bunker and invasion planete. he only got out one
release "Opening Night at Ford's Theater" -- hunt it down for a nice john
carpenter cover by legowelt and a beautiful melodic kraftwerky track by
orgue electronique especially. he also played a large role in organizing the
recent bunker, stilleben, and invasion planete usa tours.
re: field day, it wasnt so much weather as the big blackout that smothered
it, but jeremy still went out there determined to make something of it..
very tragic, very sad, rest in peace jeremy...
i only met jeremy once at the field (mud) day this past august. what a cool
person.
man this is tragic.
the one story is:
the weather was bad and a bunch of artist dropped out, so jeremy let me and
my friend george play some wax in there tent. thats how the cool the cat
plays the game.
he will be missed.
