I assume you mean 'Choose to Believe'? Excellent song. I totally missed it
on the first (and even second) listen. The vocals really capture the
essence
of Detroit/urban-style poetry--deep and reflective with rhythmic phrasing.
And what devastating words:

It still wasn't ever enough
Now That's the last act
For me the music does a very nice job of accompanying and highlighting the
vocals--without going too far off into AM's more noodly brand of keyboard
driven smooth jazz. I find that I enjoy his music the most when he keeps
things more minimal and understated--witness 'Shine on Me.'

i got the promo CD of this album back in like july. after
listening to it over and over, i was quite happy to pay for it
when it dropped on vinyl. it is definitely very nice, though i
wouldnt call it essential. his new one on mahogani is essential
though. i just cant say enough good things about that tune.
