>
FOUND THIS ON XPANDER.NL:

Techno
dj/producer Aril Brikha will be releasing a new album consisting
of 7 to 10 new tracks on Derrick May's Transmat label in 2004. The
25 year old Iranian born, Swedish based impresario's career took
off when he sent demos to out-of-state labels including Derrick
May who immediately snatched 'The Art of Vengeance' EP and was
playing the 'Groove-La Chord' track everywhere.
Brikha was
influenced by europoppers Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Jean Michel
Jarre as well as the futuristic sounds of Robert Hood and
Underground Resistance. 'Groove-La Chord' has been featured on
compilations like Body & Soul NYC Volume 3 (Wave Music) and Mixer
Presents Slam in America (DMC Publishing) appealing to both techno
and house DJs.

Brikha's last album entitled 'Deeparture in
Time' was also released on Transmat. One of Aril's new and
unreleased tracks has recently been featured on Singapore's club
Zouk 'Rhythm1' compilation, mixed by its resident DJs Aldrin Queck
and Jeremy Boon. Aril Brikha has played live at Detroit's DEMF as
well as London's Fabric and will start off the new year with a
tour in Canada and then Asia towards the end of March.
