They seem to be giving out mixed messages on the encoding side of things - in their FAQ it says "Bleep MP3s are a minimum of 256kbps, while the majority of MP3s found on the internet are 128kbps". Yet they seem to contradict that in the technical queries bit. Personally I don't think they should have used VBR, but will reserve judgement until I've downloaded and listened to a couple of tracks from their site...
