limited editions to me seem to be about turning the beat down - records communicate a message - if the producer wants to limit the people who get that message then thats fine by me. I would rather that than flooding the market with the same stuff and every dj having the same box of records. Okay Moodymann and Mills make good records, but you dont want to hear it everywhere you go. Keep diggin in the crates, theres plenty of techno out there.
