What I use to record off vinyl is a Tascam CD-RW5000 which works very well.
Its an older model CD burner and has a cool 70's design look to it. Also,
you can use just about any cd-r or cd-rw. The only small draw back is that
when you press record there's a delay of 10 seconds before it really starts
recording and the counter moves on to 00:01. But you can edit that out on
protools. =)
