Hey list-

I was at the local record store today. Just picked up an old KMS (awakening)
and the new (?) Luciano rmx on something called mambotur. Im happy to report
that that they are both great, but also an interesting little story.

I was just walking along the record store as usual when out of nowhere Mr.
Fingers "Can You feel It" starts playing over the in-house system. I could
certainly "feel it", I almost sh!t a solid gold brick in my pants! Steve tells
me somebody ordered it from the store, but sent it back; apparently because it
skiped, but i didnt hear anything. I could have been skipping through the isles
at that time, i don't even remember. Some records are great, others are
classics, yet still others deserve to be burried in a time capsel, or tossed
into deep space in hopes that other intelligent life may recover and enjoy
them.

There was a new Shawn Rudiman on Neuton or something. I dunno, its ok. In my
opinion it seemed pretty lack-luster. Im not going to hate on it, but its
nothing that really grabbed me. Im too busy bombin' those first 2 releases on
Technoir if you know what i mean ;) I have yet to hear a PA set of his, but
that day may be fast approaching due to the efforts of IC's own KentW.

{now playing} robert hood - satellite <always sounded more like a freight
train to me>
