OK...favorite Force Inc records Mike Inc - Five Years on Acid -FIM ???(that stuff is crazy) Ian Pooley - Twin Gods vol. II - FIM ??? Ian Pooley - Celtic Cross EP - FIM 085 (pic disc) Mark Ambrose - Memory Status - FIM 163 DJ Rush - Lesson 2 - FIM 178 Thomas P Heckmann - Age Isolation - FIM 136 (This one can also fit under my favorite LP thread that we had a few days ago. What a great Detroit inspired piece of techno-art!)
Is it just me or did Ian Pooley's production quality tail off after he did the Silver Shower releases on Plus 8? I don't really have anything new of his that I really like. Long live Force Inc. One of the 2 great European Techno labels that managed to last longer than 10 years. Force Inc's been one of my favourite labels for a long time, across many different genres... Hate to see them fold. If we're looking at favourites (in an acidy kinda way); Exit 100 (Thomas Heckmann) - Liquid Ep (FIM 03) Exit 100 (Produced and suffered by Thomas Heckmann) - Metamorph EP (FIM 13) and for beautiful schmaltz.. Space Cube (Gerlach/Pooley) - Machine & Motion LP, in particular "Forbidden planet" (FIM 10) BioChip C - Breakdown LP, in particular "Bio's theme" (FIM 150) Okay, so most of those are old.. I'm sure there's a lot more.. Anyone?
