I'm with Tom on the three recent Theo Parrish remixes.

-The Meg remix is genius. It's incredibly clean for a Theo Parrish cut, and
the vocals may be too 'sweet' for some, but it really devastates a
dancefloor. It's got such an amazing combination of beautiful melody and
beats, with this undertone of melancholy and suppression that creates a
thick tension. It literally sent shivers down my spine the first time I
heard it at home. Probably my favorite track of last year.

-The DJ Genesis remix *really* tames the vocal, which did absolutely nothing
for me otherwise. I can see that this wouldn't really impress in the store,
and it wouldn't have me sold with an online sample, but on Tom's
recommendation I took a chance and am very happy with it. It *is* a bit
samey throughout, but in that good Theo/NWAQ way that works.

-The DJ Kent is very nice as well. Actually I think it's the perfect
compliment to the DJ Genesis remix and I think they both capitalise on that
moody Detroit house minimalism I was talking about above. If ever there was
a track that sounded like Beatdown, this would have to be it. It's a Theo
jack workout.

But I like them in descending order. The Meg remix is something I would feel
wrong living without. I would miss the DJ Genesis badly, and the DJ Kent is
a whole lot of fun to play with. I will have to check out the original!

So who has release dates or advance tease-me reviews of his new album, the
Rotator Assembly album or the 12" on Harmony Park (I think)??? How much is
Theo set to take over the world in '04?
