otherwise it I think it something I don't own anymore actually. Some
minimal German thing or some slab of hard acid techno.
I know some of the earliest things I bought that I still do have are:
Dan Bell's "Lost Traxx" because I thought the cover design was cool but was
confused by the music - glad I kept that
Claude Young pres. Twine "Scarred" on Surface records - again I was
suckered in by the cool label photo of a submarine frozen in ice
I think I've bought a fair amount of my records by label design alone -
especially when I first was making these purchases because I was too
chicken sh*t to use the Technics they had available. That's why I don't own
most of those records now.
then I got sidetracked by funky (read "cheesy") breaks and an unhealthy
obsession with all things Swedish
