yep, there's a newcastle in australia - the give away was mention of a
possible late-night swim after theo plays. i suspect it's not swimming
weather in the other newcastle. is it ever?
i particularly like the irony of naming sun drenched endless stretches of
beaches after famously bleak northern towns.
on the way to newcastle we'll be crossing the brooklyn bridge over long
island.

spaces in the car if anybody wants a lift.
we'll be leaving the eastern suburbs around 9 or 10 and
returning after
