I know I'll get hated for this by a few but I also know NERD has a cult base
within 313 circles and at least one major Detroit DJ is a mega fan to the
extent where he knows all the words to the songs. ;

Anyway there is a DFA remix of the new single She Wants To Move which some
may find interesting.

After a week, I can say I like the new album Fly Or Die, it's kinda
thrasher-soul. It's very rock 'n' roll - but Neptunes
style! It's respect the fact that they're reclaiming rock. I think it's more
cohesive over all than In Search Of... They have played all the instruments
themselves (ie no Spymob) though Lenny Kravitz guests. Imagine Hendrix meets
Mick Jagger meets Curtis Mayfield with a bit of disco. The best hip-hop I've
heard all year is Kanye West - but this is pretty damn cool.

Also Chad, whose roots lie in techno, is planning to work on an electronic
project with a new artist whose name I can't recall. He won't use any
computers, so it will be electronic music with a human element.

My guess is it will be something along the lines of the Kenna album he
produced.

He worked with Bryan Zentz on his album, playing sax, too.
