And it should be said, in the context of my last post, that calling the track 'Acid Eiffel' was a significant statement to the French audience. It brought house and techno back into the very heart of French culture. Radio FG in Paris (which you can listen to on line btw) plays house music nearly 24/7. The last time I was there, the FNAC stores (equivalent to Virgin Megastores in the US and UK) had giant endcap displays of the Paul Johnson "Get Down Down" CD single. I think that Laurent was instrumental in making this happen. [and yes "Get Down Down" is great once, and then annoying the other 5000 times you hear it. It was just amazing to me to see a guy I've seen playing in a high school gym in Chicago get the treatment that Sting or Nickleback gets in the US]
