Yuck this remix sucks, for me its like a reedit by sony, if you see
what i
mean.
Erk the strings are awful.
And what i dispite the more, is that deep house djs put it in their mix,
they definitively should put the original one, it can be thrown in a
deep
house mix without any problem.
I dont think ive ever heard the ashley beedle mix, maybe its better like
this then :)

It is trash isn't it? I have to say, I'm puzzled by what Krivit's done,
as I think he really should be counted amongst that notable generation
of New York-based guys like Kervorkian - and all that implies: some
talent, good ear for the mix (both live and in the studio), some
production nous perhaps, experience ...
Taking on 'Strings' was always going to be a big risk, it being so
iconic and of course with that much weight of nostalgia that goes along
with it - he had a big chance of being damned no matter how good his
mix was.
But wtf, I think he could have done better than *that* surely?!?!?!
