Maybe this has been covered exhaustively, but the Chic song "I Want Your
Love"
has the line "I can't kick this feeling when it hits" -- but the moodyman
track doesn't sample that track. What is it that Moodyman samples? Or
did he find someone to actually sing into a microphone?

***imo, he did sample chic's i want your love. the "what am i gonna do?" he
loops up sounds straight after they say "i can't kick this feeling when
it hits"; the other prominent sample is barry manilow's copacabanna (sp?
very tired). hope this helps, kent. take care. andrew duke (ps much agreed
with the below; anything nile and bernard touched is worth checking imo)

PS ... I'm listening to the 'C'est Chic' album and I think when it first
came out I wasn't ready, and 'Freak Out' got played too much, so I never
appreciated how effing great EVERYTHING is about this record -- song
writing,
arrangements, performances.
