i thought the whole self-censoring thing was because many subscribers had profanity filters on incoming mail, so if you want to be heard, you watch your mouth.
no, well maybe that too, but if you use the f-word your post is filtered out by the 313 server itself..i think? i always figured the same was true for other profanity...
