They have a new album coming (their first Live At The Matterhorn was an independently issued live CD).
Fitchie: "Live At The Matterhorn was strictly just a straight recording from a live gig with a little bit of editing, but that's mainly how it was pretty much played. It just sounded good when we listened back to the minidisc, so we pressed it up. But these days we do none of those songs anymore. The songs have changed. They're still very jam and improvisation- based but not nearly as much as Live At The Matterhorn. The tunes that are going on the new album, when we play them live, they're usually anything up to half-an-hour long, but we just had to look at rewriting and rearranging these tunes to more the 10 minute range, really, just so we could fit as many of them onto a CD as possible." > I have been ruthlessly combing the P2P networks and CD announcements > for a copy of Midnight Marauders for over a year.
