The Richard Maher Agency: formed in 1992, specializing in Artist Management and Event Production, currently representing the leading names in the electronic music, producing events for current and past clients including: Motorola, British American Tobacco, Absolute, Evian and Red Bull. The Liedernacht : founded by Detroit Club Entrepreneur, Stirling, this venue was one of the most significant nightclubs in Detroit during the 1980s, a venue that set a new precedent in Detroit nightlife. Sunday May 30 2004 : 'After Dark Dancing' will take over the City Club, formerly known as Liedernacht and will be hosted by innovative Detroit impresario Stirling, Liedernacht's original Founder and Manager. The significance of this night should not be underestimated. It was here that Derrick May held his first Detroit Residency in 1984 under the guidance of Stirling. On Sunday May 30, both Derrick May and 'After Dark Dancing' Host, Stirling return to this venue, a touchstone of their heritage, after a twenty year absence for one exclusive night.
