After reading about metro area 5 last week I decided to take a trip into town to appease my vinyl habit [even finalscratch cant hold me back!] ... I've been meaning to visit koobla in soha for some time as Ive heard good things and wandered past long ago and saw some metro area in the window. Anyhoo it turns out by the looks of things that koobla has shut down :( does anyone know what happened - I couldnt see any signs in the window to indicate if theyd moved or something ?
On the flip-side I ended up wandering into Vinyl Junkies a few stores up and was really impressed. They didnt have the biggest 313 collection in the world but a nice all round collection of genres (MaW back catalogue caught my eye, and I also picked up Mahogany Black ) and the folk behind the counter were incredibly friendly and helpful which was quite refreshing considereing some shops Ive been too.
