The UR party was in the Detroit Summer Youth Space building. The party was a benefit for the Detroit Summer Youth Space, hence no smoking in the venue -- kids are actually in there during the day, and it is probably best that we didn't leave it smelling like a bar.
It was a decent venue (though more ventilation would have been welcome), and the sound was good. The big room out back with no ceiling was wicked with the moonlight streaming in -- that's where they're 'raising the roof' quite literally for their computer lab. Timeline live was a transcendant way to end the weekend. I hope that they continue to pursue live performances because they can only get better. If I was going to get picky I'd say that they were a little over-generous with the noodly bits. But f*k's sake it's MAD MIKE DOING THE NOODLING.
