The latest up and coming audio breakthrough - SACD's will use digital stream recording to reproduce sound. It's for all those people who scream that cd's suck because they cannot reproduce analog sound like vinyl does. Well... apparently these things can. Here's a quote: "DSD recording captures complete information from the best of today's analog mixing consoles, ensuring a performance unrivaled by any other recording system; digital or analog. Because the SACD format allows for multi-channel recordings to be stored on disc with no down-conversion to stereo, the full quality of each of the DSD channels is preserved."
