I always do a little vibration test to decide if I need them, there are times when I was without and wish I had them. -try stomping on the floor in front of the djbooth/table and see if your record skips, or bumb the booth/table. The floats may be wierd looking but they absorb the vibration. But if you buy some try them out at home first so you know exactly how much air to put in them if you put too much the center can make your deck be un-balanced. Anytime your playing outside with a raised staged you should use them
