Yeah i agree, it's funny because i heard and had the same discussion years ago 
when the first 'all electronics' acts went on stage. People claiming that it 
just didn't look right, just some nerds pushing buttons, it just looked boring 
looking at people with just synths, drumcomputers & samplers on stage, it 
wasn't real music etc.

Laptops & computers are the future of electronic music making and making music 
in general so you better get used to it. Actually right now i am changing my 
liveset into mainly a laptop based one, there is nothing more frustating then 
to pick-up a flightcase with gear and realizing that it turned into a giant 
lego box :)

Oh and do think that a laptop preformance can look good, it just depends on who 
standing behind it.
