i picked up the decompression 12 over the weekend...a non-banging techno record with that epic feeling. i like this a lot.
in terms of absloutes like best of the year i dunno but _one_ of my faves this year is the Joakim remix of Max Berlin's "Elle et Moi" (http://www.discogs.com/release/210837). pure class.
and yeah Minto, i agree about the bassline on UV Dreams (the bside to decompression).
