equally OT ...

we watched this at work - did you see the broadcast? gosh, a powerful and sad 
speech, indeed. he's been a decent Governor ... not perfect, but he's done a 
lot of good. I am curious to see who comes out to support or attack him, and 
hope the next person in won't be like Whitmann (shudders). someone at work had 
a nice point, saying "I don't care if he's gay or not, I just want my car 
insurance to be cheaper."  LOL

I can't help but feel tumult at times like this ... when the rules of 
'official' conduct in the US seem to care more about what people do "in their 
bedrooms," between a few consenting adults, than about criminal and treasonous 
government behaviour going down in countries, including our own ... negatively 
affecting millions of individuals.  :\
