I recently lost my white label of "subhead07";
apparently it grew legs and walked out of my house.
i think the title is "Sevens". I never had any info
on it but the chicken scratch of a sharpee.
I've sought out discogs & samples online
to no avail, so i turn to YOU...
Description:
4 tracks. 3 hard, angular tech; typical
early SH release [I don't care about these]

long=5 min+... a zylophone-like motif of 4 16th-notes rolls eternally down
the minor key's octave from p1 to p5. it fades in<->out of a mimicking fat
synth bassline: slightly out-of tempo so their momentum phases to & fro
(+ making it hard to beatmatch).
It all builds slowly. Pulsing from underneath, a pink noise generator
rages against its imprisonment behind compression-stuttered ironwork &
circuitry; but the fury demands expression.
As if driven mad by the relentless, mis-aligned & sad insistence of the
instruments, this fettered & noisy wraith hemorrhages its confinement with
tortured determination. It screeches open a flanged filter, heavy with the
excruciating tension built of a simple 4-min-long sweep upward into the
upper Khz stratosphere...
until BANG! the inexorable implosion rips apar tyour dancefloor. tatters
of a trance & the shuffle of feet (along with the appreciative whoop &
hollar) tread the deafening emptiness ofa chilly wind billowing from your
speakers and the lonely ghosts of synth-pads-past, fraught & petulant,
questioning their existence...
I'm currently using this to construct a soundtrack for a modern dance
choreographer. My melodrama above reveals our comittment of concept &
sound. (The dancer is ready to sick 4 big drag queens on my ass... ) This
is important & immediate. I have mere days to replace the song & finish
the recording. I will buy vinyl off anyone willing to sell; otherwise,
I'll be content & appreciative for a
digitized copy of the 1 ambient piece.
If you made it this far,_congratualtions_. Reply privately plz. Any help
or info along the following lines will be gratefully received:
1) Anyone simply familiar with the release I'm talking about? Can you
confirm if it is subhead07?
2) If you own it, are you willing to sell?
3) Regardless of your attachment to the release, if you have it,
could/would you do a girl a favorand digitize the bitch for me so I can
downloadit ASAP. If you don't have webspace, I can arrange for ftp
anonymously...
4) Know that your help will contribute to the expansion & fusion of
underground aesthetics &artistic development in a time of wretched
corporate mores & its resulting rapacious, graceless culture that have
driven most of us into hiding -- or at least into temp jobs.
