A bunch of us showed up at a last-minute party at 229 Gratiot during the Movement festival -- John Arnold, Ayro and Benji B among others were playing; meanwhile the Chicago crew headed by GU were swingin' over at the Camillian. That was quite a night . . .
229 Gratiot has quite an, um, interesting history . . . and it's a long climb up those steps . . . all the same, one of the better "keeping it real" events I've been to in the D. -- fred
