Are any Chicago people going to check out REGIS on Saturday, I am really excited about that show!!! I was disappointed to see someone else in Chicago putting an interesting event on the same night, but I have to check Regis as I do like that style of techno and I don't know if I'll ever get to see him again.
On a related note, I get rather annoyed when people trying to split off hard techno from the Detroit continuum, I think it all has its place and it isn't helpful to try and blame hard techno for everything wrong with techno. We don't need superstar DJs to "save the world from bad techno." We just need the true music lovers to continue to do their best to support the music they love and spread the word. ~David
