Yes indeed. Plenty going on, mainly in the cities. Here in Cardiff, the capital, we have a few techno nights with some good resident DJs.
DJ Rolando is playing next week at a new night, Funktuate. Martin mentioned Holodeck, a very popular night which is rather more "banging" (acid techno and so on). They've got Mark Broom/Rue East next. I promote a monthly night, Machine Meadow, now one year old where we play electro and 313 stuff. Recent guests have included Tom Churchill, a former Cardiff boy and Acid Casuals, who had a 12" on Novamute. Other than techno, there's tonnes of quality nights doing hip-hop, house, drum&bass and reggae. Out in the valleys they have lots of working men's clubs, if you can imagine a Welsh version of that scene in The Blues Brothers. Drop me a mail if you're ever coming down. We'll show you a good time! carl morris Plug Two t +442920190151 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cyclone Wehner" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "313 Detroit" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 08, 2004 3:03 AM Subject: (313) Wales > Is there a club scene of any kind in Wales?
