Not really Ken - it allowed me to buy a book I've been wanting but never
took the extra $20 to buy it.
I wasn't expecting anything except the chance to spin. I appreciated the
gesture and the offer.
Sorry, none of this was supposed to sound like a complaint. I was more
caught off-gaurd by the entire night. I could have said no to them but I
didn't want to do that. I went in with the rust accumulating around my
skills and gave it my best. I learned some things about the equipment but
most of all I figured out how to regain some composure when I felt like I
going down in flames.
I did all this in front of less than ten people I would say.
How many bad, 1st on, warm-up DJs do you remember? I'm not too worried
about it (but then again I haven't check the local messageboards)
In the end I had some fun and I lost a few pound while sweating over all
the buttons and knobs.
