69 - HOGMANAY
Seasons greetings 69'ers. This Hogmanay at our wee club we have decided
to put on a very special guest. None other than the master of the Dutch
Disco himself..
ALDEN TYRELL - ( VIEWLEXX / CLONE )
Mr Tyrell comes to join us for the ultimate semi-legendary Paisley
Hogmanay experience. Hailing fae Rotterdam. he comes from the Clone
Records stable of artists. He is much loved by us at Rubadub, for his
EOG tracks and his darker take on electronica, but also for his rather
more uptempo tracks that combine the stellar high octane disco legacy
of people such as Giorgio Moroder, Bobby Orlando and Patrick Cowley
with ultra modern production sensibilities. Blah, Blah , Blah. We tend
simply to call it .. the 'Dutch Disco' .
We thought this would be ideal for the party that is 69 on Hogmanay.
He will be performing a 'LIVE' set, and will be bringing his lovely
girlfriend, who will be providing vocal accompany-ment. (probably
vocoded).
To our knowledge, its their first time in Scotland, so we hope to show
them a good yin.
Hopefully you can join us for another Rootin tootin, shoe shuffling,
wallie wagglin, varicous vain ratlin, yoyo yankin, 69 at Hogmanay.
