Just got this from Ductor....
Thanks to everyone in support, including all the DJs, for making the
New Year's Eve party so special. It was a great way to finish the year.
The Surgeon loved it and treated us with an awesome mix-up of various
styles that went down extremely well! Again, a big, big thank you to
everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support, and
we hope 2005 will be as special as it promises to be...
For January we welcome back to Superconductor one the finest of the
Detroit pioneers, Carl Craig. When Carl made his debut for us in July
2003 it was widely regarded as one of our finest parties for all
involved. Carl absolutely loved the venue, the crowd and the whole vibe
of the night, and is very excited about his much anticipated return
this month. Expect nothing but the finest, purest music!

The first in a series of regular parties at the Mission kicks off with
a full live set from Octave One, another of the motor city's finest
talents. Their new album is due out imminently and their live sets are
the stuff of legends, so this promises to be very special indeed. Also
Mr Weatherall will be finally back on board after a hectic finish to
2004 with his Two Lone Swordsman tour. As usual expect the unexpected
as we welcome back a true pioneer for the first of many appearances we
hope in 2005. The Iration Steppas will be back, in arch three, so
expect some heart stopping bass along with the finest in world Dub &
Roots from a true musical institution in Leeds.
We hope you will all enjoy our parties at the Mission after a very
difficult start to life there last year! As with any new venue we have
learnt a lot from our first uses of it. We feel the space will enable
us to provide much more in our line-ups, including more live sets and
greater diversity to the DJ options on any one night. We hope to iron
out any teething problems straight away, and as always appreciate any
feedback you have. We will still be carrying on at Stinky's as well, as
quite simply the place is very special.
Many thanks from all at Superconductor
