No worries Martin, I don't blame you of course! :-)

Feel free, I get the blame for everything else :) I could start a world war ordering a pint me :)

I tell you what; last year I bought the German edition (with English
text. There's also a German edition with German text!) of 'Trans Europe
Express'. It sounds very clear and reasonably loud to me. I think it's
this: http://www.discogs.com/release/23516

The UK edition of the LP of the same name isn't too bad either.

I think most of the old 12" I have are booties, as they look like direct ports from the album. I have a copy of the Model that sounds like it was mastered through two cans and some damp string!

I thought about not posting it to be honest Ken, I've yet to find a
good mastered (loud) piece of early vinyl by Kraftwerk. I picked a few
up from HTFR, and they are all shocking...

Kinda thought some people may be interested and yes the staff of this
shop are of "legend" for being rude and snotty.

Glad I could help ease the tension :)

There's nothing like a bit of intemperance early in the morning and
here's one from me:

Phonica (and the co and people from which it evolved) is well-known in
our little technowelt for its sharp practices and p.o.s. attitude to
both customers and staff. I've also noticed that the descriptions on
the
records are often inaccurate at best (e.g. saying Black Noize is
actually Shake?!) and at worst misleading. Selling this boot and
giving
out the subtext of the tracks being 'ultra-rare' as a kind of
justification, seems to be just an extension of the above.

There I feel better now...
