yeah - that's gotta be a mistake on Discogs part.
The Din that the Cheap release is listed under is totally different as far
as i know. The Din they're referring to as being Trance/Techno/EBM is Pupka
Frey from Toronto. He's also part of another local industrial/ebm band
called Digital Poodle. i'm not sure who the Din on Cheap is but i'm pretty
sure it's not the same person.

Subject: (313) DIN on Cheap records - drumless techno
I just picked up this
http://www.discogs.com/release/94285
was wondering if the rest of the entries on discgos regarding the artist
DIN were correct?
Everything else is lumping him/her/them as trance which just doesn't fit
with the music on this little 10"
I like this alot - pretty sparse instrumentation - sounds like one
keyboard
and a drum - maybe an 303 as well and pretty much a heavy groove laid out
by the keyboard
the B-side (I think) is just a keyboard playing out a groove. It's
drumless
techno which makes it even funkier imo.
so two questions then - who is DIN and what else has he released? as I
don't trust the discogs entries. and anyone got any favs when it comes to
drumless techno that isn't ambient?
