Common Factor "Will" samples Weather Report's song "Will" from one of my all time favorite albums Weather Report's "Sweetnighter." I listened to Common Factor's album "Dreams Of Elsewhere" today for the first time, and this is one I totally slept on.
It was fun to be grooving along to new music and hear something familiar pop out, and if you slept on "Dreams Of Elsewhere" you should check it. Grooving, beautiful techno, based around inventive sampling. I guess not only do the Detroit heads have great taste in music, so did their moms and dads ;-)
