hey, i was in the shop last night and picked up the osbourne remix of that tik-tok thing on spectral. I bought it for the original in the shop and didn't give the osbourne mix a good listen. it sounded really straight ahead in the phones with just a needle drop. I got it home and put it over the rig, and the osbourne mix is a real uplifting jacker! I'm still into the orig for the rubber bass, but the remix is gonna be the bizness when the floors go deep. there's also a super minimal spookout on the other side that's really cool in an ominous-dark-cellar-dripping-with-the-blood-of-ancients-kinda-way. can't remember if it's been mentioned, but all tracks are fresh and veeery different from each other. the analord joints are off the hook too. anybody know if they're out in the states or not? watts? anyone? yo, my man and I have been asked to do a night of eighties dance music for a friend who owns the east side lounge on flat shoals. it's saturday, free, and we'll be pumping up the jams. soul, disco boogie and electro galore. and some smiths to boot.
