I think that has been raised before but obviously not with trance acts in mind - more in the league of OutKast or as in George Clinton in a previous year. The names I heard were mostly on the avant garde hip-hop or neo-soul tip and I know DM wanted Air, Kraftwerk, etc, as he mentioned so in an interview. Someone commercial yet envelope-pushing. But obviously money is needed to book someone like that.
