I think it was last year (or perhaps the year before) that a couple of dj's in Sydney got taken to court for playing mp3 at gigs. And in their cases they were playing commerical dance, r&b and hip hop every weekend at a sport bar in Sydney.
Judging from the article that I read, it sounded like that they were surveilled over period of time, not just a one off bust or anything like that.
