Mike, I used to live in Denver so here are my picks. Keep in mind though that to me a good store is that which has lots of minimal techno (eg. minus, perlon). The first is a place called sweat. 2229 Larimer St (303)297-9328. Close to downtown. The second place is located "on the hill" in Boulder. It's called Harmonic Motion. 1209 13th (720)565-0402. I think Harmonic motion is tops. Twist and Shout in Denver is okay. Lots of house, very little quality techno, but that's all relative. Also in Boulder is a place called Barts that's on Pearl street. I have heard good things but have never been. As for clubs, I think one of the guys at sweat was doing a weekly minimal music thing at a bar downtown. Unfortunately the music scene in Denver is very weak. Can't help you with the shooting range. Good luck, don
