Yeah, I downloaded that one. I'm pretty sure it's Atkins, given that
Ming and FS and Up, Bustle, and Out are on that comp too :)
(I posted about this like a year ago and nobody paid any attention!)

Just looked-up Juan Atkins on the iTunes Music Store.
There's a lot of classic stuff on there (including some of the great
recent New Religion material.)
But wait. What is this odd-looking entry on an LP called 'Christmas
Eclectic' (genre: 'holiday') with a track called 'Snowflakes Falling'?
The compilation appears to be a sort of Christmas gift record.
I'm not wanting to believe that the track 'Snowflakes Falling' is
actually the man himself. Going by the sample, it's about +12 on the
cheesy, cornball, schamltz scale (add your own adjectives!). It's got
kids singing, twee lyrics, triangles etc.
But I have to say: those chord changes, that melody, that bassline,
even the synth sequencing .... they *do* have a certain familiar feel
to them. Someone tell me I'm way off-beam or this may turn into a
little cause celebre!
