Techno is club-focussed now here. Good techno is in clubs. Rave is dead 
here. Or the still extant raves are for hard dance, hard NRG, trance, etc.
Even then people dress up, just in bunny suits, etc. Two Tribes is a
carnival of bad rave wear.
All the females I know get dressed up to go out, it's not something you even
question. I probably wouldn't have raised that topic had I not done an
allnighter for work and lost my self-editing faculties.
I like dressing up, I just hate the idea it's "expected" which it is -
culturally.
No, I think boho boots can have heels, ha ha! I am not talking platforms,
but yeah! They are a good tool for trainspotters as you're elevated and can
see over all those tall dudes, ha ha. It's not too hot here. Melbourne is a
quite temperate now.
