Install the Ogg Vorbis for QuickTime 1.0b8 component from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?
group_id=41359&package_id=33458&release_id=236727
then iTunes can play back Ogg Vorbis files directly, and
highlighting the Ogg selection in the Library and selecting
"Advanced" -> "Convert Selection to MP3" should Just Work[tm].
