the way i see things like that is that theyre just one more front
on which the battle against bad music is fought. radio is one
front. art galleries are another. night clubs. warehouses. video
game and movie sound tracks. city sanctioned gatherings. its all
about bringing the music to people in every possible manner. youve
gotta have people doing all the dirty work in all of these venues
to get the music ingrained in the culture. thats how hiphop did
it, and look at how ubiquitous it is now.
