I agree with the complaint but not the argumentation. The "if its
good its good" argument sounds a lot like the arguments so often used
against popular music, "ethnic" music, "race" music (before it was
named jazz), etc... But I agree that the "epidemic of sub-genres"
story has become a rather tired cliché in EDM writing.
