How long been into Detroit music: I first heard it in 96 or 97 on Ken
Ishii's Mix-Up 3 CD (Octave One's I Believe, Strings of the Strings of
Life. Didn't know it was Detroit at the time, though.
What turned me on to Detroit: I guess I already answered that.
Fave Live act: Peter Gabriel
Fave Live act (techno): Underworld
Fave club (for techno): I think the best time I ever had at a techno club
was at the Waterfront (or is it Riverfront?) in Rotterdam. Ended up there
by accident. I was supposed to see Aril Brikha somewhere else but they
wouldn't let me in :(
Fave club (currently): All the good weeklies around here got canned, and
the only clubs that still play techno are VERY shady.
