I'm a big fan of Hotel California - it's reggae, honest! ;)

It must be Claude Young - but he seems to have lost a lot of weight.

haha, thats great... i'm a bit embarrassed to admit i've always had a
soft spot for the funky rolling bassline in "one of these nights"  {
ducks to avoid thrown bottles }. Hey it was sampled by Ultramarine so
they can't be THAT bad...

i was getting calls all night from rockers asking me if i was gonna
play all these covers of Kraftwerk songs i never knew existed, guess
they're sufficiently "meta" to cross over everywhere ;) Sort of
terminally hip, if you will. The one thing i COULDN'T find in time
was my Senior Coconut CD, which I think is brilliantly done and I
would have liked to play.

depends on which one you mean... there's about 50 images in a random
rotation... if it was a tall shot of a guy DJing in front of a hanging
black Seventh City banner, it was Claude Young spinning at that
festival afterparty, at Agave a couple years ago.

peace
